I have been quite busy in the past week and have been feeling guilty about not updating my blog. So here are a general set of links that I have come across during the free time I have had:
www.orcit.com - one of the most neatly targetted hack attacks of late. The target being users of Orkut. A hacker registers as a member of orkut and sends messages to a community asking them to join a 'new' community. Only, the link does not go to orkut, but to orcit.com - which then steals your password. Beware. More interestingly, orcit.com and orkut.com differ in IP addresses by a single digit!! Somebody did plan this neatly!
www.go-mono.com - Nothing that you don't know about here (hopefully), but I am getting increasingly amazed at the speed of the Mono project since its inception. Also, the tremendous amount of commitment and effort shown by these guys is commendable. It could mean the breaking of the barrier for Microsoft - stepping to a world where .NET will run on virtually any operating system. You would also want to see www.monodevelop.org which is a port of #develop for Gtk#.
http://www.dotnetindia.com/files/IndianMVPBloggers.htm - This is from Anand M's blog. One of the India MVPs from Chennai. He has compiled a page of all the blog addresses of India MVPs. You would definetely want to take a look. Moreover, thinkingMS.com features in three of the links with Vadivel, Rosh and Pooja being on the India MVP list. :)
http://blogs.msdn.com/jobsblog/ - Interesting blog maintained by some Microsoft-ies on the technical interview questions and HR questions asked in Microsoft interviews. If you already haven't read the book How would you move Mount Fuji?, this website provides a nice compilation of many of the puzzles/questions.
www.msdnconnection.com - A worldwide program for the MSDN program. If you haven't registered, do so. Registration is free and this helps you keep in touch with happenings and events relating to MSDN in your locality.
That's about it for now. I have a few things to blog about and I promise to be more regular very soon.
