Over the past two weeks anybody visiting my blog must have seen an ugly error showing up. I was notified of the error by Vadivel soon after it first appeared and I have never had the time to fix it up being extremely busy with office work and some travelling.

I finally resolved to fix it this week and found that dasBlog had created some temporary 0KB files in the content directory with vague date names (such as 1425-03-03) which caused the blog runtime to crash.

I have removed the offending files and in the process lost two important files called the CategoryCache and EntryCache - which are responsible for showing you links to my previous entries. Now I don't have any previous entries showing up - I will need to manually rebuild the cache files. Plan to write a small script to do that and put that up in a couple of days. Till then.. my blog is back and up for new entries.
